Mushrooms are rich in protein, dietary fibres, vitamins and minerals. They comprise about eighty to ninety per cent of water, and eight to ten per cent of fiber. In addition to these, mushroom is an excellent source of vitamins especially C and B (Folic acid, Thiamine, Riboflavin and Niacin).
